Best headsets for Canadian small businesses
Jabra.ca prints from CA$155 / CA$245. Logitech.ca prints $99.99 / $129.99. HP Store Canada prints $395.95 on the Voyager 4320 stand kit. Microsoft Store CA prints CAD $69.99 on the Modern USB. A noise-cancelling mic claim is not an open-office lab. Earbuds are enough for a quiet one-to-one.
Last updated 7 September 2026. About 14 minutes. Research from public vendor docs and CRA pages — not a hands-on lab test.
A Smithville shop does not need a contact-centre RFP. It needs a boom the client can hear, an honest CAD sticker, and a “noise-cancelling” claim that is not a fake lab. US “best headset 2026” lists skip the part that changes the invoice: jabra.com/en-ca dollars, HP Store Canada Poly cards, and the fact that AirPods may already be enough for a quiet one-to-one.
This comparison is the headsets shops actually open: Jabra Evolve2 40 SE (USB) and Evolve2 55 (Bluetooth), Poly Blackwire 3225 and Voyager 4320, Logitech Zone 300 / Vibe 100, and Microsoft Modern USB Headset (Teams certified USB). Headset prices checked against public vendor and Canadian retailer pages, 6 September 2026. This is not a call-centre lab.
Who this page is for
- A Canadian sole prop on Zoom all afternoon whose laptop mics pick up the kettle.
- A two-desk shop buying “Teams certified” without knowing USB vs Bluetooth or UC vs Teams SKUs.
- Anyone about to spend $400 on a Voyager stand kit for one quiet home-office Meet.
- Not a hands-on call-centre lab. Not a gaming headset list. Not a contact-centre ACD RFP.

USB vs Bluetooth, and when earbuds are enough
- Desk all day, no battery anxiety: Evolve2 40 SE, Blackwire 3225, or Microsoft Modern USB.
- Walk the shop: Zone 300 or Evolve2 55. Budget the dongle if the PC Bluetooth stack is flaky.
- Quiet one-to-one Zoom: AirPods or the laptop buds can be enough. They are not a boom and not a busy light.
- Official Logi CA lists Zone Wired Earbuds (Teams-certified wired buds). This retrieve hid their CAD — confirm the shop card if buds are the job.
- The 905 line still needs a VoIP seat — VoIP / business phone. The grid is still video conferencing.
A practical pick
- Quiet desk, USB, Teams badge: Microsoft Modern USB at CAD $69.99, or Jabra Evolve2 40 SE from $155 if you want the Open Office boom.
- Wired boom under $100: Poly Blackwire 3225. Confirm $85.99 vs $95.95 and the Teams SKU.
- Walk around on Bluetooth without a $400 kit: Logitech Zone 300 at $99.99.
- Dongle, busylight, earcup ANC: Jabra Evolve2 55 from $245. Confirm stock.
- Open-office walk + stand: Voyager 4320. Confirm HP $395.95 vs street and the stand SKU.
- Earbuds already work for a 20-minute Meet: stay. The meeting and the shop line are still video conferencing and VoIP.
