Privacy policy
NorthOffice is a small Canadian content site. This policy describes what is actually collected today — not a template that claims tracking we did not build.
Updated 6 September 2026.
This site is operated by Jordan Taylor, a sole proprietor in Smithville, Ontario, Canada. For a commercial activity in Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) is the federal baseline for how private-sector organizations handle personal information in the course of commercial activity. Ontario does not have a general private-sector privacy statute that replaces PIPEDA for this kind of site.
What this version of the site collects
The public pages are static content. This version does not include:
- an analytics script (Google Analytics, Plausible, or otherwise)
- advertising cookies or AdSense
- affiliate tracking cookies or pixels
- a working contact form that stores or emails your message
- accounts, logins, or a customer database
The host that serves the site (for example Vercel or a similar static host) will typically log standard server request data such as IP address, user agent, and the page requested. That is ordinary hosting telemetry, not something NorthOffice uses to build a marketing profile.
What we may add later
If audience measurement is added, this policy will name the tool and what it stores. If affiliate links go live, some vendors set cookies when you click through so they can attribute a sale. Those cookies are the vendor’s, not a first-party NorthOffice tracker. The affiliate disclosure will stay current.
External links
Guides link to CRA pages and vendor marketing sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices. Clicking a vendor link leaves NorthOffice.
Your requests
If you send personal information later via contact@northoffice.ca, it will be used only to reply to you. You can ask what is held about you and ask for it to be deleted. There is no mailing list in this version.
